I Remember

I was learning to notice and use someone else's  piece of writing as an exemplar.

Success criteria what you were doing, something that was happening, something you did, why you did it, finish with that was summer or something similar make your writing descriptive- interesting words, verbs and adjectives.

I think I did well on my direction and maybe I could work on putting  similes and alliteration in my story.

Tuesday 7th February

I Remember . . .

Seeing the glistening water,

Making awesome sandcastles,

Seeing people sunbathing in the hot hot sun,

I slither into my togs,  

I dive in the water, it was freezing, “dd rrrrrrrr”  

I was eating yummy sweet refreshing jam sandwiches, “yum yum”.

Going boogie boarding with my daddy,

it was a relief after I cooled down.

I was freaking out that Crabs were going to snip my toes off,

I love my toes.

That was my Summer.

Christmas MENU

This is my Christmas MENU. While I was thinking about it all it made me so hungry my tummy was rumbling. I hope it does the same to you. Mmmmmm.

Bird Feeder

This week for Oral Language we presented our bird feeders. My bird feeder was a house being hung from a tree with some food inside, it has a roof so the food will not get wet. I hope you like mine.

Amazing Awesome Athletics Day

Yesterday it was Athletics Day at Bledisloe Domain there was a lot of schools came like Karetu, Kawakawa, Maromaku, Motatau and Waikare. Also the events were discus, hurdles, 400 meters run and 100metre run. My favorite was the 100metre run because I came first on the first round then in the finals I came fourth. I enjoyed athletics it was fun.

Floating Egg

Hi my name  is Lucy and I go to Paihia School. This is my thinglink about egg floating then the egg sinking. I had to share it with the class for oral language. I also had to do about five or ten hot spots. Hope you like it.

Amazing Action World

Last week all the seniors went to  Action World. One of my favorite activity  that I did was the Tight Rope I nearly made it to the end but I only made it to the middle. I also did the big trapeze at first it was scary then it was fine. Last thing it was awesome.    

Killer Shark

Hi this is my animation about the Killer Shark. The amount pf slides were 39 it took me quite a long time for me to make it. One of the things I learned was to turn the picture around, using Arrange, Rotate and Flip. I hope you like it.
